Did my application go through?
Yes! The first time you apply for a job on Local Eye Site, we ask you to take the Local Eye Site Assessment. Occasionally, something goes wrong and you get an error, and then it won't let you try to take it again. Bummer.
The good news is, YES, your application did still go all the way through to be reviewed by the employer, even if you had trouble completing the assessment, and you do not need to apply again!
So will I need to take the assessment again next time I apply for a job?
Not necessarily. If we did not get a completed assessment from you, our system will likely send you an email reminding you to complete it, and will provide you with a link where you can try again. If you attempt to complete the assessment using the link in that email, we might let you know that your assessment is already complete.
How can I avoid getting an error again?
We have tested the assessment process extensively using the Google Chrome and Safari browsers, so we'd recommend completing it using one of those, rather than Internet Explorer, which has been the cause of problems in the past for some users.
